Adhesives for Flexible Packaging

The NOVACOTE Division is part of the COIM GROUP, dedicated to developing and supplying adhesives and coatings, mainly for the Flexible Packaging market. During recent years the NOVACOTE Division grew rapidly both in terms of Business and Organization.

With respect to the global organization the NOVACOTE TECHNOLOGY CENTER is located in Hamburg, Germany as R&D Centre for Packaging.

Laminating Adhesives for flexible packaging materials

A wide range of adhesives has been developed to meet all marked needs. Constant research and development is directed to extend product applications. The adhesives are generally classified in terms of performance.

General purpose: for snack food and confectionery

Medium performance: for coffee pouches, liquid soaps, cosmetics, sauces and condiments, laminates with moderate thermal treatments.

High performance: for retort applications, hot fill / boil in bag, etc.

Laminating Adhesives for graphic arts include a complete range of adhesives for laminating plastic films to paper and cardboard, improving final product resistance and visual impact, e.g. cosmetics and spirits packaging, book covers etc.

• WB Graphic Arts Adhesive

Ink Modifiers as solvent based polyurethane resin available for use in the manufacture of flexographic and gravure inks.
