Korsnäs develops, manufactures and sells virgin fibre based packaging material to the consumer goods market. The company also produce biofuel pellets at two plants in Latvia.

Korsnäs virgin fibre-based packaging materials have the characteristics necessary for first class converting or sophisticated printing. The well-defined application areas and target groups allows Korsnäs to produce cartonboard for the world's leading manufacturers of liquid packaging.

A leading forestry company in Sweden, Korsnäs owns facilities in Gävle, Rockhammar and Frövi. The company produces 1.1 million tonnes of paper and cartonboard, with integrated pulp production, each year. 90 percent of Korsnäs products are exported and the company employs 1,800 individuals throughout its whole division.

Sack & Kraft

Sack & kraft paper for sacks, bags and other products requiring maximum strength and durability.

Korsnäs Sack Paper offers the ultimate solution for packaging products with a porous, highly elastic and suburb tear resistant nature, creating a strong and durable result. The paper has also been designed with strong and clean fibres to meet one of the most importance food packaging prerequisites, taint and odour free paper. The white surface makes it possible to achieve high quality print and to reproduce four colour images with optimal results. There are no shortcuts for a high quality paper bag or sack.

Korsnäs Kraft Paper is able to be used for full colour print as well as image reproduction thanks to the rigid and strong printing surface.
