The Box B.V. Receive BRC/IOP Packaging Standard Certificate

BRC/IOP Packaging Standard approved for The Box B.V.

To reach BRC/IOP Standard, companies are required to have demonstrated their competence by gaining accreditation to EN 45011 for the scope of the BRC/IOP Standard.

Manufacturers and suppliers of packaging used for retailer own branded products have an obligation to implement appropriate systems and controls to ensure the suitability of their packaging for safe food use.

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) and The Institute of Packaging (IOP) have jointly developed this Technical Standard to assist retailers and food manufacturers in meeting their legal obligations.
