A new feature for the Compac Mk5 Stacker Truck has been introduced by Packline. The Powered Drive system has been designed to assist the operator of the MK5 while travelling. This additional feature does not have any effect on the existing applications of the Stacker Truck.
The Powered Drive system is designed with a tiller handle, which makes steering with the twin wheels easy to control and a toggle switch allows power to be stopped or started when in forward or reverse directions.
The Compac is easily operated and the addition of the Powered Drive has further improved this. Three models are available as standard and can lift up to 60kg, 150kg or 300kg. Assistance from the Powered Drive when moving such weights has developed the Compac Mk5 Stacker Truck's user friendliness.
The Compac Mk5 is the result of extensive market research producing a high quality, stainless steel machine ideal for use in industries focused on hygiene and chemical resistance.
Its small area coverage means the Compac Mk5 Stacker Truck can be used in manufacturing environments where work spaces and production lines are confined or narrow.
The safety of the operator is paramount to Packline, as a result the compac is up to date with international Health and Safety directives. This is supported by documentation, technical files and risk assessments .
Although formal training is not a lawful requirement, Packline are able to provide a full training package uniquely catered to the Compac Mk5 Stacker Truck with Powered Drive. An on/off key is also available ensuring that no-one without the suitable training can operate the system.
Low maintenance and reliability have ensured the Mk5 is a machine that has been built to last. The Powered Drive will be assisting manufactures for years to come.
