Systech Illinois have developed Portamap, a portable carbon dioxide and oxygen headspace analyzer for fast and precise testing. Headspace analyzers offer a reliable and quick way of assessing the shelf life and quality of packaged food & pharmaceuticals.

Portamap measures the gas presence in food that has been packaged in modified and controlled atmospheres by insertion of a needle probe and a switch on the main panel. An LCD display will then show its analysis.

The instrument is easy to use, portable and robustly made so is not effected by vibration, atmospheric pressure or operating position.

The product draws its power from the maintenance free batteries so recharging it is therefore as simple as a connection to the mains supply.
