The multifunctional hand-held terminal Casio DT-X30 has been used in numerous applications since 2008 and is particularly suitable for companies that need to send data recorded by mobile devices to head office.
This is in part thanks to the reliable laser scanner/CMOS imager, and the integrated 2-megapixel camera, which takes sharp photos at lightning speed.

Following extensive testing, the IP protection class of the DT-X30 has been increased to IP67 and the fall protection was increased to 1.8 metres. "Since the DT-X30 passed the IP and drop test, in the R&D department we have continued with testing to ensure that we also pass protection class IP67 and the 1.8-metre drop test", explains Thomas Uppenkamp, Mobile Industrial Solutions Manager at CASIO Europe GmbH based in Norderstedt, Germany. These increased values apply not only to the DT-X30 terminals delivered from now on, but also to all those used previously.

Robustness and high performance are thereby also guaranteed in extreme external conditions. The robust DT-X30 terminal enables users to keep working, without limitations, in situations that are out of the ordinary, such as continuous rain or extreme cold. The operating temperature range is -20 C to +50 C, covering all of the normal conditions for most areas of application.
