Corrosion Protection
When we think of damage in transit, it's probably impact damage that instantly comes ...
Double wall boxes are made out of two facings, two corrugated mediums and an inner liner inbetween to give five papers in total.
The most common type is BC, which consist of one B-flute and one C-flute.
These types of corrugated cardboard are used for heavy applications, particularly in packaging for export shipments. The density of double wall corrugated varies between 650 and 1800 gr/m2. To obtain an even stronger box, seven layers of paper can be used where three layers are flutes. These triple wall boxes are named according to the same system as double wall for example BCB.
It is important to remember that it is not just the number of flutes that affect the strength of the packaging, paper quality and thickness are also essential parameters. Nefab will find the best solution to meet the customer requirements.
