CALYPSO HITS THE BOTTLE ! …… Our latest installation is at Calypso Soft Drinks, who are a household name market leader with a range of well known healthy drinks. Calypso products have traditionally been carton and cup packed. Calypso introduced into the market place a range of soft drinks and Isotonic drinks in PET bottles, which proved to be a resounding success. They initially relied on contract packing until this year when a decision was made to install a complete bottling line in house—a first ever for Calypso.

The Calypso selection of a suitable supplier process involved a rigid criteria: - ability to ensure product quality is maintained, ease of use, build quality, reliability, single source supply, turnkey ability, existing customer references – Calypso received excellent references from the contract packer, a long standing AVE customer --- After careful evaluation of many machinery suppliers, they awarded the contract to AVE.

The AVE supply on this project includes, Unscrambler, Air Conveyors, Ultra Clean Rinser/Filler/Capper Unibloc, Bottle Turner, Auto Trayless Print Registration Shrink Wrapping System, and Cluster Packer; the end of line conveyor system then feeds into a Palletiser.
