2011 SITL Prize for Innovation

A simple pedal press transforms the Loadhog Pally and its load from pallet form into dolly form (and vice versa). The Loadhog Pally has the ability to become a dolly at any point in the supply chain. The Loadhog Pally significantly reduces movement and increases productivity compared with traditional equipments and methods. The Loadhog Pally is compatible with automated lines, conveyor systems and traditional mechanical handling equipment.

"The Pally, a product of Loadhog Ltd., possesses two qualities which characterise many innovative products: it responds to a specific need of customers, and simplifies transport by combining technologies as well as existing products. In this case, the Loadhog Pally combines the characteristics of the standard plastic pallet, giving stability and security whilst still and on the move, with little burden due to stackability when empty, combined with the mobility and capacity of a manually-operated dolly.

These characteristics make the uses of the Loadhog Pally obvious for all short journeys, such as movements between lorries and warehouses, and within retail outlets, where the use of forklift trucks is impossible or even unnecessary.
